The LQ Bicycle Rodeo and Safety Fair will take place on Saturday morning (26th) in La Quinta Park. That’s the one across from the high school. This will be from 10 – 3:00. Kids come with your bike and a parent or guardian for a bike inspection and a FREE bike helmet, while supplies last. There will be obstacle courses and bike-related vendors. Sounds like fun and a great change to increase bicycle safety.
BTW, cyclers, remember you ride WITH THE AUTO TRAFFIC, not facing the traffic, like pedestrians do. Most important STOP AT THE STOP SIGNS: you put your lives and others’ lives in danger when you don’t stop. Parents, remind your children and adults? get with the rules….
